Amanda Essinger
Amanda is an ANFT Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide with a long-time passion for nurturing mental health and wellness through relationships, including relationships with nature and the more-than-human world. In addition to guiding, Amanda is a licenced Independent Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor, Licenced Professional Clinical Counselor, Registered Play Therapist™, and co-owner of Connecting Roots, LLC in Barberton, Ohio. She is also a certified Mindfulness-Based Ecotherapy and Ecoplay group facilitator with a certificate of education in Animal-Assisted Psychotherapy.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her dogs, learning, crafting, and volunteering at Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary in Ravenna, OH.
