Nev Hoffman
Hi! I’m Nev. I’m so glad you are here! I have spent the last 20 years here in Kittery Point Maine, but I grew up in New Mexico & Colorado and always felt at home in the mountains and forest. Nature is my escape. The forest has always accepted me.
After 25 years as a full time photographer I had a series of transformative life experiences during the pandemic that brought me to the Japanese practice of “Shinrin Yoku,” or Forest Bathing. I knew I had found home again. Part of what caught my imagination was the group aspect and the tea gathering at the end of each session. It was so unique and meaningful and anyone who knows me knows that I am already a certified tea geek.
So in late Summer 2023 I decided to pursue becoming a Certified Forest Bathing Guide. I started Blue Fern Forest Bathing - Where the Forest Meets the Water. I offer coastal & woodland Guided Forest Bathing Sessions that include mindful movement, guided nature meditation, connection with nature and each other, and a tea gathering.
