Meet your guide…

Dana Kindness
My name is Dana Kindness and I am a Certified Nature and Forest Therapy Guide with the ANFT. Since childhood I have had a love of animals and an enjoyment of spending time outdoors. This led me to my work as an environmental and outdoor educator on Long Island, New York. This work afforded me the opportunity to spend time in nature on a routine basis, something that many, with the hectic pace of life, don’t get to do.
Forest therapy has allowed me to experience nature in a whole new way. By slowing down, we can experience the healing, transformation, community, and magic of nature. I came to this practice through my search for healing modalities for a friend. And I found the gift of this embodied practice that helps people just be and connect with nature, each other, and themselves.
I am excited to explore the natural spaces and discover magical places in the gardens, fields and forests of Georgia with you. Let’s remember how to be kind to ourselves, nature, and each other, together.
And, yes, my name really is Kindness.
My walks will be scheduled in the spring … check back soon!
