Meet your guide…

Linda Lombardo
It's been five years and 200+ walks since I was certified as forest therapy guide through the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs (ANFT). Each walk feels new and astonishing to me! I'm also a Master Naturalist through Quality Parks on Long Island, NY. I became the first certified Forest Therapy guide on Long Island, NY, back in 2017 when not too many people knew what forest therapy was. I quickly built relationships with local arboretums and preserves, who recognized that what I offered was different than what they could offer to the public. I drew on years of leadership expertise, becoming the official Forest Therapy Guide for organizations like TENWOMENSTRONG, and FULL SPAN LEADERSHIP, and GRACE CHASERS, offering programs for personal and professional empowerment along the East coast.
I'm also a 20+ year life coach through the Coaches Training Institute (2001). Partnering with the forest to support my coaching clients is wild heart experience for them and for me. Listen to my interview about forest therapy with ONE, the Organization of Nature Evolutionaries: https://www.natureevolutionaries.com/teleseminars-1/2019/9/15/forest-walk
In addition to forest bathing experiences, I offer private individual coaching and coaching walks, organizational and group forest bathing walks, Tree Wisdom card readings, Let Nature Come to You for those who cannot get to Nature, gift certificates and I'm a wedding officiant for those who'd like a ceremony in Nature.

There are no right or wrong answers. What’s in motion these days? Are you beginning to notice the insect activity? We’ll connect with Nature through our breath, find gifts to share, and notice the rhythm of the forest with some collective movement. Forest Bathing & Sound Healing at The Center for Environmental Education and Discovery (CEED)
287 South Country Road, Brookhaven, NY 11719, USA
Forest Bathing AND Sound Healing in this 3-hour event at CEED! Forest Therapy is a research-based framework for supporting healing and wellness through immersion in a forest or other natural environment. Sound healing is the practice of using sound and frequency for relaxation, healing and personal development. Join Linda Lombardo, Forest Therapy Guide, and Dayna Hunter, Sound Energy Practitioner, for an immersive 3-hour nature and sound experience. We will explore the trails and take pauses for all to be present and to fully experience peaceful moments with nature, gathering some therapeutic benefits it has to offer. The forest bathing will be followed by a sound bath ceremony led by Dayna. Sound therapy is the perfect compliment to nature. Together they have a rich medicinal synchronicity, and have the ability to change your entire energy state of your mind, body, and spirit, a truly transformative experience. We will end by the campfire with ceremonial tea. Please dress for the weather and bring a yoga mat or something to sit on in the forest.
