Life took a turn, and she went back to school to become an ultrasound tech. she practiced this in Asheville, NC for ten years. Then she took the skill on the road and traveled the country. Of course, finding hiking along the way. Now retired from that career and caretakes and tends 25 acres of wooded land in Cedar Grove, NC. Creating paths through the forest became an obsession. As she questioned this use of time, she found out about Forest Therapy. Thus began her study and certification with ANFT.
