It's Autumn and our Ecotherapy Fall Series at Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Great River, NY concludes with some quiet time with the trees, water and the Earth herself. Come once, come often. It's up to you. Discounts apply if you purchase more than one walk in the series, no matter which season. Ecotherapy, forest bathing or Shinrin-Yoku is the practice of connecting with Nature; of walking with Nature rather than through it. We stop often and are invited into this relational practice that lowers cortisol, improves cognitive function, boosts your mood and energy, and most of all, grounds you so you are better prepared in your daily life to manage whatever might come your way. It's a wonderful way to meet like-minded people who love Nature and want that deeper connection. Walk length: 120 minutes; please wear comfortable, sturdy shoes and clothing suitable for walking on paths and grass. Limited to 18 participants. Ages 16 and up. Fee: $45 per person. A portion of the net proceeds helps support the arboretum's Natural Heritage Trust Fund.
