Forest and Nature Walks Remotely Guided via Zoom Forest Therapy or Forest Bathing is a therapeutic practice that promotes health, well being and a sense of connection to self and nature. These monthly remotely guided walks are offered on a sliding scale to increase access to this beneficial practice. Remotely guided walks can be experienced from any where, all you need is a little outdoor space and a smart phone. Recommended Donation $5 - $30 or what ever feels right to you
Zoom link will be sent after you register for the walk HOW IT WORKS – 4 EASY STEPS 1.Download Zoom App to your phone - https://zoom.us/ You can join by video or by the phone feature. 2. Find a place in nature , it can be your yard, your deck, a local park. A place that feels good to you and where you can be for 2.5 hours. 3. At the time of the walk use your zoom link to enter the walk 4. Make sure you have a good signal, headphones and that your phone is charged so that you have enough battery for the whole walk (2.5 hrs). If you are outside be sure your phone is fully charged or you have a power charger with you. Details - Your Guide will be in nature and will guide the walk live via zoom on her phone. - Put one earbud in your ear, listening to the guided walk and the other in your shirt so you can listen to what is around you. -Bring a flask of tea. -Dress warmer than you think you need to be, you will not be moving around much. -Bring a sit upon or something to sit on.
