This is a guided Forest Therapy walk along the shores of Lake George Regional Park West. You will be introduced to the history of the land, be guided through a somatic meditation , then through a series of invitations you may experience the land as you see fit. Allow this time to be your "me time" Let go of your worries and schedule as you melt in to the embodiment of the moment.

Special Instructions

Please be prepared for frozen or wet weather. Bring boots, dress warmly enough, and snow shoes may be needed depending on the forecast. Bring water and a snack for yourself, tissues for your runny nose if it is cold, and curiosity for the land.

This waterfront park overlooks Boca Ciega Bay and offers plenty of shade under the oak trees. It has a beautiful boardwalk that meanders through a variety of native plants. The Indian midden is a place to reflect and connect to Florida's history. The first Indian tribes of this land were the Colusa and Tocobaga. On this walk we will explore our 5 senses and deepen our relationship with nature. The health benefits from spending time in nature have been document and backed by science. Reduce stress, boost immune system and get a better night's sleep is just a few. Come walk with me. Things to know before you go.
